What is an Electrical COC and why do I need one?

A Certificate of Compliance (COC) is a legal document certifying that all electrical work on your property is safe and meets South African standards. It is required by law when selling a property and is often required by insurers. EcoTec includes a COC with every electrical installation.

How long does a solar installation take?

Most residential installations are completed within one to two days. Larger commercial systems may take slightly longer. Our team works efficiently and leaves your property clean when we're done

Do I need a borehole or will a Jojo tank be enough?

It depends on your property and usage. A Jojo tank stores rainwater or municipal water as a backup — ideal for outages. A borehole provides a permanent, independent water supply. For many homes we recommend both as part of a complete water independence setup. Our team will advise you after a free site visit.

Does EcoTec offer after-sales support

Yes — always. After-sales support is a core part of what we offer, not an optional extra. If your system ever has an issue, you call us directly. We don't disappear after the install.
